  1. Introduction & Registration

Everything starts with a conversation. 

When you contact JIPA, you’ll speak with a Patient Care Coordinator who listens to your needs, gathers basic medical and personal information, and notes your treatment preferences. This step builds the foundation for a personalized care journey. 

Goal: Understand your situation and register your case. 

 

  1. Care Plan Assessment (CPA)

Next, your case is reviewed by a JIPA Medical Director—an experienced physician who evaluates your records, symptoms, and clinical needs. They determine what type of care you need, what kind of facility is best, and which providers are most appropriate. 

This may include coordination with your referring physician or consultation with prospective treatment providers. 

Goal: Match you with the right care, based on expert medical review.  

 

  1. Plan of Care with Estimate (POCe)

Once your clinical needs are understood, we create a Plan of Care with Estimate. This is a detailed breakdown of your treatment options—including: 

  • Vetted provider and facility choices 
  • Estimated medical costs and services 
  • Risk evaluations and treatment variations 

All costs are pre-arranged and clearly explained. You’ll know exactly what to expect before making any decisions. 

Goal: Provide clarity, options, and financial predictability. 

 

  1. Choose Your Treatment Plan

After reviewing your plan, you decide what’s best for you. Your JIPA coordinator will help explain the clinical and financial aspects of each option so you can make an informed decision. 

Once approved, we begin coordinating your care. 

Goal: Empower you with choices and support your decision-making.  

 

  1. Make Appointments

JIPA handles all admissions and appointment logistics, including: 

  • Securing priority scheduling 
  • Coordinating with providers 
  • Aligning appointments with your travel dates and preferences 

Goal: Ensure your treatment begins smoothly, without delays.  
 

  1. Hospitality Management

If you’re traveling for care, JIPA arranges: 

  • Hotel accommodations near the treatment site 
  • Ground transportation to and from medical appointments 
  • Appointment ambassadors (where available) 
  • Pre-travel packets with local guidance 

Note: While JIPA does not issue visas or passports, we do provide visa letters—official documentation to support your medical travel visa request. 

Goal: Make your medical travel as seamless and stress-free as possible.  
 

  1. Concurrent Case Management

During your treatment, we stay involved. 

  • Our Medical Directors monitor your care and communicate with providers 
  • Your PCC checks in with you regularly 
  • We track your clinical progress and manage medical records 
  • We update referring doctors and payors as needed 

Goal: Maintain quality oversight throughout your care journey.  
 

  1. Reconciliation & Follow-Up

After treatment, we finalize the details: 

  • Clinical and financial reconciliation 
  • Medical record collection 
  • Coordination of follow-up services 
  • Post-treatment check-ins to ensure your recovery is on track
